LMAO

In the Don Garber interview on TFC TV, on 4:19 onwards, a guy attempts to walk across the back of the screen, stops, goes back and then tries again :D

Agreed ... at the very least one of the best.

In the Start article they noted Portugal FC is merging with another club to form another amateur academy. We'll see how it works in practice, but sounds like good news in general.

something that I keep on reading is that Garber still thinks that we are all mad due to the poor performance of TFC

It wont work, thanks to Ontario Soccer Associations and CSL clubs to the certain point.CSL clubs tried to go around OSA and deal directly with CSA and that was a big no,no.

CSL Clubs announce few months ago how they want to start development acdeimes within the and play the games within the CSL Clubs. No idiotic OSA Pyramid of play with kids under 11 already playing for promotion and relegation etc.
CSL CLUBS KICKOFF YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (http://canadiansoccerleague.ca/news_archive.php?news_id=290469)

At least that was a plan, and than OSA came to save our well known Youth Clubs in Ontario and didn't approve CSL development league, according OSA the league will be out of their jurisdiction and want give them refs.
The fact that some youth clubs wanted to work together with CSL clubs just shows that was aright move, but than again "OSA Old Boys" club struck again, and most of this deals between CSL and Youth clubs are now history.

At least there are some good Independent Academies in GTA who are outside of OSA and CSA jurisdiction.

One of them is Sigma FC Academy (http://www.sigma-sports.net/index.html), even DD #9 has his kids there, and that means something.

The 21-man roster is laden with 12 players from Canada's three professional youth academies (Vancouver Whitecaps, Toronto FC and Montreal Impact), but Nanco's invitation is the sole invitee from a Canadian independent soccer Academy and this speaks to the quality of the education he has received through the Toronto-based SIGMA organization. Sigma FC is a member of the Soccer Academy Alliance of Canada.Nanco, a technically sound and dynamic attacking winger, recently returned from training stints in England with Premiership sides Liverpool and Newcastle.http://www.academysoccer.ca/

There is so much talent in GTA that TFC shouldn't worry about the future, only obstacle for better soccer in Ontario is our own OSA a protector of Youth "non for profit my ass" underdevelopment clubs in Ontario.

Let's hope CSL Clubs will fight this OSA decision and eventually start they own youth development in near future,so that kids in Ontario have more than one option for their development.3

Sorry for big post but it pisses me off every time I see how much talent is wasted in this country because of few idiots on the top.

Re-iterated stuff in the email. Said a few times that the fans are "tribal". Whatever. Going to watch my city play football isn't like going to the movies..

.
It will all work its way through the system eventually. The OSA is really a conspiracy of the foolish at this point. The network of things non-CSA, non-provincial association grows every year. Whether it be SAC or the CSL or some of the independents showing up.

People are recognizing what needs to be done to develop talent and the wanks who call the shots are not willing to do it. So they say "fuck it, let's do it ourselves".

Heh. So what happens next season when we're beaten half to death once again by a rubbish product and failed results?
