Just thought it was interesting and that you would all like to know... Just went down to have a drink before the game at Real Sports and it's closed for a private event tonight

The private event? It's for all season ticket holders for the Toronto Raptors and the Toronto Maple Leafs

I probably wouldn't read too much into it. These events happen at the beginning of their respective seasons, so this case, hockey and basketball are just about to start or have recently started.

TFC had a kick-off event at the beginning of the MLS season.

In other news: TFC has contacted at least one Red waiting list member, ignoring entirely the Gold list, and offered him season tickets.

THe story was conveyed by denime, a moderator, in another thread. He claims to have a friend on the Red list who was offered tickets just this week.

EDIT: Now denime says the following when the story was questioned:
"To be honest I'll ask him about that list,but I don't see why 40+ years old Dr. would lie.I'm sure he said red list."

I call BS on this as well (not on denime, but on his friend). I called the FO and specifically asked when gold-list members will be able to get ST, they told me it'll happen in November after the MLS Cup.

Its possible denime's friend got ST through a scalper or off kijiji or something.
