So we play out the final home match of the season, with the 2 teams already eliminated from the CCL.

I expect both teams to play reserves/youth.

I'll call a TFC win against a crap opponent.

The biggest excitement will be the protests by the RPB and the NEE

Match on GOL TV.

Tuesday night, pointless game. Ouch. I can't even imagine how low attendance could be.

Might be worth encouraging people to attend just to bolster the morale of the few players we actually want to stay......

I'm looking forward to this one. Always interested to see the young players get a run out. The Columbus game was meaningless, and that was one of the more entertaining games in recent memory.

given how the academy just played a playoff game on sunday, i hope they don't get put out there. what the fuck are we keeping the first team fresh for. make the buggers run.

but yeah, the most interesting thing will be the protests.

that it's come to this.

We should see some of the academy players even though they played last night their young with lots of energy.
Daso was in the stands watching in the section next to us taping his foot to our chants.

I would like to see the first team the healthy ones no need to rest them.

I predict a 2-0 victory for us silent fans:D

After town hall meeting we had a small talk at Joe's and for tomorrow game we would like to carry on where we stopped at last game.

WEAR GREEN and BE SILENT UNTIL 23:12

After Dichio song the idea is to get behind the boys on the pitch and show them and ML$E why we are 12th man and important part of the game.

However if the mood of majority is to stay silent for all game than so be it.

Chances are the stadium will be pretty much empty. On Saturday we showed them how quiet a relatively full stadium can be. Today is our chance to demonstrate exactly how loud we can be and how much atmosphere we can bring to even an empty stadium.

I say we either sing or don't sing, this dichio nonsense might be sending mixed signals to the players (i.e. we'll support a retired player but we're not behind them)

Wore green and silence on Saturday.
What's the consensus for tonight, now that the protest and town hall meeting are behind us.
Do we wear TFC gear or still green tonight ?
Support the players on the pitch against the a pathetic side Arabe Unido.

hopefully RPB pick up exactly where you guys left off last game.....if MLSE doesn't understand what supporters bring to the game by now, they never will.....

but I do think they still have lessons to learn when it comes to what a supporter-less stadium will look/sound/feel like......

i don't think today is any day to demonstrate how loud you can be. everybody already knows that.

stay silent. it's not just about showing MLSE. it's about showing other fans who don't partake in message boards your displeasure, and hopefully getting them to follow suit. furthermore, this is a CL game, so it's on different networks than regular ass MLS games.

i'm continuing to not go to the games. but if i was there, the only sound you'd hear from me is the odd fart.

From the TFC website story:
"The commissioner further revealed that the choice of BMO Field as a neutral site venue for MLS Cup Final was a way to thank the fans for, as he put it, “teaching U.S. soccer fans how to support” their club."

Bwahahahaha.

So Garber knew with certainty since at least March 30 that TFC wasn't going to play in the final? He should've told us back then!!

hey I am wearing a green thong to boot

DID NOT NEED TO KNOW, but thanks for the update.

Informal survey: what's the more disturbing mental image? Marcel wearing a green thong or Nick Garcia chugging down the left flank in nothing but chaps and nipple tassles?

Discuss.

You can't help but think the worst with all those pictures of Colonel Williams in a thong on google news.

I had to google Varnet.

Vice-Chancellor of Academic Affairs at the University of Southern Carolina.

The above statement makes perfect sense now.

Actually, I think that you just topped the disturbing thing by even coming up with that second image.

Dude. Really? :)

So, that Morgan kid looks like he's got a lot of potential. Lots of skill, good speed, and a sense of where to be out on the pitch.

Not sure about the kid who replaced JDG though.

CHEERLEADERS FROM 113

Honestly, it's too bad that there isn't one supporter's group. Shame really. There would have been more strength in numbers.

This is TFC. Give it some time. They'll probably outdo the opposing goalie scoring in this game as a final game at BMO present.

Morgan played better at LB tonight than Garcia or Hscanovics did all year. I think this kid deserves a serious look next season...

Decent game. I was impressed with a few of our guys.

Ibby however ... complete writeoff.

Chevy
10-19-2010, 09:06 PM
Don't write him off just yet. Ibby's essentially an academy player, and one that gets far less game action than the other young guys.

grizzle

Well at least we won I guess... even though it means nothing. Ibrahim should be dropped back to the academy.

10-19-2010, 09:13 PM
He just hasn't improved and doesn't do much positive out there. I know he's young but he has to do more than that if he's going to break through.

This guy was more of a prospect at 16 than he is now.. that's troubling.

c'mon denime.

THIS

^last game they did the bounce through Hesmer's goal, and through all the celebrations that followed. I'm sorry, but that is cheerleading, and it's embarrassing.

and by doing that they actually embarrassing all TFC fans not just them self.

Very positive. Great game and great night at BMO. No voice left at all and am damn proud of it. The boys deserved our support and they got it. Now onto the next battle. MLSE!

that morgan kid looked very promising. very good at joining the atttack, a shame his shot at about 70 minutes didn't go in, he deserved that.

Labrocca had a fantastic game, not sure where that came from.

more people there than I would have thought. not much green. 113 quite loud, quite a decent atmosphere towards the end.

singing happy birthday to dichio at 23:13 was a delightful touch.

all in all, 8 points and 3rd place in this group is a respectable finish.
