I've made a separate thread for the third link, about quelling the supporters' revolt.

The Academy teams are a bright spot in what is another dismal season.

At the 11th minute Portugal FC’s Andrea Lombardo was released in behind TFC’s backline and had a shot that missed TFC keeper Chad Bush’s far post.

 Some things never change.

Yep. That's what I'm thinking, too, Techno.

I saw Lomardo score for Portugal v Milltown FC last night. . .

yep. . I sure did, and they have a forward "Whiteman" that would OWN mista in a goal for goal season challenge. .

I gave Lombardo a bollocking in Dec. 2007 at the Madison for being crap :D

My guess, and its just a guess, we still have to purchase for the Nutrilite Canadian Championship games, but the CONCACAF games will be removed...

I figure its those games because they might not even happen...

Then, to ensure that the CCL games aren't empty, they include them in partial packs to non-SSH's... Either its a autho-trans on the credit card if we qualify, or auto-refund if we dont...

Just my guess...

Not sure if this is already mentioned in one of the CSL threads, but I thought this would be of general interest: Milos Kocic does very well for the Serbian White Eagles, in a playoff game vs. the Brantford Galaxy, even drawing some applause from the opponents:

Here's what I imagine...

Good news, [insert waiting list name]!

The "all-season" pack has been upgraded! Not only do you get 10 Marlies tickets*, you get 7 CCL games* as well as 3 prime MLS matches against Kansas City, Dallas, and Colorado!

* in the event that TFC doesn't make the finals of the CCL, the credits will be applied to the 2012 Red Club section season tickets of your choice. Under our new sponsorship deal with Charmin, the Marlies tickets can be exchanged for 10 rolls of extra-soft 3-layer toilet paper!

very interesting times. Maybe I'm a sucker, but I think that for once, MLSE actually wants to win something. They can't compete with the Raps, the Leafs are Cursed... TFC is their way to actually get a trophy, but they underestimated (or misunderextimated as George Bush would say it) what it actually takes to win in this league.

I know I've only seen him play a very, very limited amount - but he look good during that time...

Always good to have depth in net...

Good to hear!

Also nice to hear that the "depth" is getting playing time. Hopefully there will be an MLS reserve league next season, to give Conway more action as well (assuming Frei stays with TFC).

I saw Kocic in a pre-season TFC game, vs. DCU I believe, and he was amazing. EDIT wrong, Kocic came from DCU, but his amazing pre-season game was vs. Dallas I believe? He also did well vs. Vancouver, in the final (meaningless) NCC game.

I missed today's News, being in school and whatnot.

I'll be at the game this Saturday, in 119. Just a simple question? Should I wear green like many on the board are advertising? Is that an organized protest? :D

I have no problem wearing it, I just wanna know if others will be wearing green too :D

It would have been nice if Anselmi would have manned up and signed the letter. The whole thing smacks of corporate doublespeak to me.

Always thought Lombardo had some promise in his future, to bad it didn't work out with TFC. Another homegrown kid.
