Toronto FC announced Wednesday that it has signed Toronto FC Academy forward Nicholas Lindsay to a professional contract. Lindsay becomes the second home grown player to sign with Toronto after defender Doneil Henry signed last month. Lindsay fills the final roster spot available for these players and will not count against the 24-man roster. He is currently travelling with the club while they are on the road for three games in nine days.

I honestly think this kid is the best winger in the organization at the moment...

Congrats to Nicholas Lindsay. From the little I've seen of him, he's been a quality player. Hope he continues to improve.

hes a good young player, smart too, wouldn't be surprised if he was only with the club for a couple seasons.

I assumed the TFC "train wreck" had signed Lindsay Lohan but then I thought, "Hey, Mo's not here anymore!"

it would be fun watching her drunkin ass stagger up the field in a TFC kit.

Great news! I thoroughly enjoyed watching him boss the Vancouver defense in that glorified friendly a few months back.

Most talented player in the organization outside of De Ro...at least he's seemed like it when I see him on the ball.

His local team was Brampton East. Having seen both Brampton clubs at junior level vs my kid's rep team, this should be an excellent seam of talent to scout-likewise other elite clubs in the GTA.

Good for him! It's great see a kid get signed to the bigs out of the academy. Can't wait until this is a regular occurrence... 20 years from now.
