GO Bus improvements include new service to Stoney Creek and between Milton and Bronte

TORONTO, June 25, 2008 /CNW/ - GO Transit is set to offer improved GO Busservices in several areas, including Stoney Creek, Guelph, Acton, Georgetown,and Milton. GO Bus service is going to Stoney Creek. Starting Monday, June 30, itwill be even easier to get on the GO with new express weekday bus servicebetween Stoney Creek and Burlington GO Station. These buses will connect withLakeshore West GO Train service heading to Toronto's Union Station or otherpoints along the Lakeshore line. New weekday service between Milton and Bronte will also begin on June 30.Buses will serve Milton GO Station, the carpool lot at Bronte Rd. and Hwy.407, and the Bronte GO Station to connect with the Lakeshore West GO Trainservice. Beginning Saturday, June 28, Guelph, Acton, Georgetown, Brampton, andMalton customers will have even more weekend GO Bus options. GO will add manynew weekend and holiday trips and make changes to some existing trips. WeekendGO Bus trips will also begin serving the University of Guelph bus loop. On Canada Day, Tuesday, July 1, GO Train and GO Bus service will operateon Saturday schedules.
