Paul James now calling for MoJo's head.


The Toronto FC franchise should not have been a place for personnel to learn their trade on the job, be it coaching or soccer management. It should have required a more experienced skill set other than what Johnston brought to the table. The city and its fan base was just too big and demanding.

The media is waking up. No more articles about Toronto's "crazy fans." They realize that the team needs a big improvement in the GM slot.

We can sign players currently without a club (its not subject to the transfer window), at least until the roster freeze date (which I believe is today).

8 league goals in 4 years is hardly impressive, its more like a RR type signing (another player with Premier League club experience). More distraction from Mo.

Agree very much with this. And we keep making that mistake, who's mojo's assistant, why jim brennan of course, just learning, and what a great guy to be learning from.

Dichio as coach I'll give them a pass on, there's enough coaching positions that you can have someone in there who's just starting out.

But hopefully, if the coup ends up being successful and we get rid of preki before the season ends, dasovic doesn't get the job on anything more than an interim level, i'd much rather get an experienced coach in. combine that with a gm with experience and a track record of winning, and we'd be on the right track.

and before anyone says, about the experienced coach bit, "well that worked really well with preki didn't it" I'd say yes, he was doing ok. the squad has been painfully thin on attacking quality all year, and yes that's down to preki as well as mo, but was he really expected to magically make everything perfect within half a season?

That quote seems to be calling for something more than simply the firing of the GM. James was the one who compared the Vancouver head office to the TFC head office months ago but didn't get much taction then. I'm glad to see he's sticking with it.

If all that happens as a result of these four years is that a new GM is hired then they really are just playing a joke on the fans.
