Toronto was called for 23 fouls in this match, reminiscent of their Champions League encounter against Arabe Unido in Panama where the Reds couldn't get into a flow due largely to constant stoppages in play. In contrast, Chicago was called for fouls only seven times.

MLS just needs to stop using Central American refs.

Agree, buy off the refs or hire a coach who can teach our players to fake injury and flop.

Hey, if we're losing games because the other team paid the refs more then that's easily fixable. (Only half joking, I wouldn't be that surprised if one day there was a huge match fixing scandal in MLS)

The entire footballing world needs to stop using Central American refs.

My guess is that their lives and families are always under threat if they dont favor the home crowd.

This is no different than the African referees and middle eastern and east europe refs.
