Yup, I'm watching, with natural sound from source, LOL. I'm impressed with the supporters in Puerto Rico and their club is clearly feeding off the energy in the stadium. It's no wonder L.A. played their worst game in quite some time in the 1st leg in front of a pathetic crowd at the Home Depot Centre...

Where is this support coming from?!!

1-0 Islanders, 5-1 on aggregate. It's over. The Galaxy will be the lone MLS club that won't advance to the CCL group stage...

LA would have to get 5 goals... Landycakes just got 1 as I was typing this!

The winning score would be 6-1 (hmmm... sounds familiar ;) )

I've had the feeling that LA isn't taking the CCL too seriously, but are focusing on winning the league.

My disdain for the time-wasting PR goalie just continues to grow.

Oldtimer nailed it, this just doesn't seem to be a priority to the Gals. LAG got skinned in the first leg and although Arena put in his starters this time, they aren't doing much.

Can't blame the Galaxy...winning the MLS Cup is clearly top of their agenda this year, especially after the way last year ended for them.

Just goes to show that the North American audience don't get what International Club Competition is all about.

i wonder how many EPL supporters would rather win CL than league title?

Well these cups matches, Nutrilite, US Open, Champions League, the attendance has sucked outside of Canada and to some extend Seattle, who have been playing US Open games at their training facility.

Good to see Marco, despite the own goal and the Islanders advance at the expense of Landycakes and the lost Galaxy.

It's fiercely debated by supporters of various clubs. The money tends to make the clubs focus on the CL more.

The best way around it is to win both :D (it's possible with the large rosters in the EPL).

It's a very new concept in North America - none of the other big team sports have it, so it'll take a while to catch on.

Also, it would probably catch on a lot faster in North America if the other teams were from European cities.

LOL @ BR.

People don't realize that other confederations have their own Champions League. LOL

Well, and I mean this in the nicest way, Americans don't realize that there are other confederations. And they don't much care.

It'll be interesting to see if this kind of thing can be sold to the US. All I'm saying is, why expect them to be interested just because other places in the world are?

Agree on that as well. Obviously it's totally hypothetical and would never happen in a million years but MLS teams in the UEFA Champions League would command attention of the mainstream in the USA much the way the world cup breaks through the clutter. Obviously never going to happen but if the outside competition was glamorous and the best of the world then it would be a different story.

and the reason for PR filling their stadium is because an outside 'glamorous' galaxatives team came to town...otherwise i believe when TFC was there the crowd was sparse..
