Also in today's news:

(Reuters) The Kitchener/Waterloo Company (KWC) outlasted a strong showing by the Red Patch Army (RPA) to take the 1st annual RPB tournament for Easter Seals via penalty shoot-out 3-1.

The game remained tied with no score through 50minutes of play despite numerous RPA attacks that ended with hitting the woodwork and some great keeper saves. The KWC keeper, after a fantastic stop, was forced to the sidelines with back pain. The substitution keeper withstood the final minutes of the match to send the result to the whim and drama of the penalty shoot-out.

Undefeated in tournament play, the RPA fell to KWC in the shoot-out when the substitute keeper stepped up and produced a couple of fine stops.

Other teams in the tournament made strong showings. Deportivo Durham (DD) played the majority of their fixtures lacking a full strength squad. Boasting strong physical play, DD fought hard for each ball and on more than one occasion it was difficult to tell that they only had 10 players on the field.

Halton AC (HAC) gave a fine performance during the tournament, remaining competitive in each match they played. Stringing together some fine movement on the wings, it seemed clear from the their movement and passing that there is more to come from this team.

the up to date table is on mlssoccer.com, I tried to copy and paste, but it came out all wrong, and I don't have the patience to make it look proper.

We're now tied for 8th rather than tied for 6th.
