Hey all, was just thinking, how sweet would it be if for Canada Day next year we could convince the CSA to have the CMNT and CWNT play exibition games at BMO?! I know we have CONCACAF games this year but for next year... I'm hunting down a CMNT jersey for Canada Day this year and thought having exibition games on July 1st would be a really cool way to celebrate. Any thoughts, can this be done?:canada:

We screwed the pooch with our first audition, the costa rica game...but now on August 20th we can show the team that playing at BMO is a good idea.

Canada Day friendlies? With the last example (Costa Rica) such a failure I don't the CSA are going to slap together an exhibition game for BMO. Wait till Aug 20 where they will play Jamaica to go to the World cup. Maybe if that is successful the friendlies would come bacdk to BMO...

I think TFC is doing a wonderful thing for Canada and soccer in general. Hell, it's got me actually caring about MLS, and I wouldn't have given the MLS the time of day two years ago. It actually got one of the awful ESPN shows to mention it.

BUT, if I go to BMO Field and find myself in my usual seat and The US national team is playing the Canadian national team...... I'm cheering for my country. Plus, the stupid, retarded Columbus fans wouldn't make the trip. You're looking at a 99.9% pro Canada crowd with that .1% of lil' ole me cheering on everyone but Ladycakes. (While wearing my TFC hat to ease the pain a bit.)
