I think Asif has decided he wants to be fired...taking himself all seriously with that suit and that article. He should remember who he is working for...surprised the TFC police let that article slip....

The MLS website has started to take pride in articles that arent just a mouth piece for the league, im sure the TFC website is just an extension of that freedom...

The recently acquired Spanish forward signed with Toronto FC on July 6, but was ineligible to play until July 15 due to international transfer rules. A further mix up with documentation kept him out of Toronto's 2-1 loss to Philadelphia on July 17.

obviously the board was down when this happened, but this reminds me, what the fuck is mo doing?

how long was he trialling with us before he signed. even then, he signed July 6th, and he had 9 days to sort out the paperwork before he could play, and he still couldn't do it.

serious question, what does Mo actually do?

^ Mista was ineligible to play until the 15th anyway because that's the date the transfer window opens.

They were awaiting his International Transfer Certificate from Spain, which needs to be processed before he can play for us, but it was delayed on their end.

So, actually, Mo is blameless here.

right, but i find it hard to believe that it takes the spanish people that long, i mean i know about siestas and all that, but come on. This has been in the works for ages, long before he was even eligible to play in MLS. Was Mo forced to wait until the 15th before he could apply, or are the spanish really that slow.

He had to wait until the 15th to apply, and then the Spanish were slow getting it done.

Well if that's the case then fair enough. I knew he was ineleiglbe until then, didn't realise you weren't even allowed to file the paperwork. seems a bit silly.

I love how he takes the train to the match with the fans...

Reminds me of Robbo with TFC & Glenn Healy with the Leafs - both road the GO Train to matches/games...
