Mista signing for TFC - Yes, No or Maybe So?

With Mista signing for Toronto FC, what is your initial reaction towards the signing?

Okay, after the initial FIFA 10 test, which has been accurate for most of our signings so far, here's my analysis.

Slow, big Center-Forward, who draws defenders, allowing Chad Barrett, who I used on the left of a 4-3-3, to cut in and score more (!)

As for his own chances, he is not a runner. There is no direct route to goal for Mista. He requires some kind of cross or pass and his job is to kick those in. Definitely a poacher. He's accuracy is a concern though. He gets good opportunities but he shoots them wide, and once hit the crossbar from what was otherwise a good chip.

This is just a game though. Take it for what it is :D

Moving on, I am neither one way or another. At 31, he still has some years left in him and coming from a higher level and having played with JDG, I think it could really assist our attack as teams would be drawn to tightly mark him so he doesnt get the ball, maybe opening up more space for DeRo to operate.

Sadly, it sounds like he lacks pace and would need service to be effective and that service is something we are sorely lacking.

He could be effective, but without service I fear his tenure here, even if it is short, could be hurt if he isnt able to get the ball.

If we get Brandy or someone on the wings who can get room for DeRo, JDG and LaBrocca to operate in and get the ball played into Mista, I would think it would be wonderful.
