Any surprise that we've had 2 penalties called in this match? First one was definitely a penalty but the 2nd one was soft as hell. Didn't matter because Pat Noonan fucked it up.

1-1 after 60 at PPL Park. Nice stadium with scenic background.

Tyrone Marshall is a total horse's ass today.

Conceded a penalty and getting killed on defense.

Oh shit how offside could Fred be? And neither of these asshole announcers spotted it.

Le Toux to Mwonga....stopped by Keller but the ball it loose and Mwonga scores on the rebound. 3-1 Union.

The Sounders are in crisis mode.

3-1 for the Union, the Sounders ended up the sacrificial offering to open the PPL Park.

Union fans aren't bad but the far end of the stadium with the river in the background feels like a BMO rip off.

Man, what is wrong with Seattle? It looks like year one really was a huge fluke.

Their biggest problem is that their offense is shit. They just can't score. The one goal they got was on a lucky bounce right to Noonan.

Today the defense was just pitiful.

Not to mention Noonan can't score on a PK facing Seitz...:D

No wonder. They don't even show the foul on the MLSnet highlights, just the PK.

That was my first thought, too. Looks exactly like a nicer version of BMO.

Also, I didn't see the game, but in the highlights, they don't show what led to the 2nd penalty call.

So maybe they're trying to protect Toledo . . .

I'm watching the replay now on GolTV as I get ready for work. The stadium is definitely reminiscent of BMO Field with a magnificent backdrop and the supporters section in the south stand. Kudos to the Sons of Ben as they create an atmospere that is loud and authentic. I can't fault the Philadelphia Union franchise for emulating Toronto's recipe for success (off the pitch)...

MLS highlights are at times pathetic. They edit out the red cards, important fouls, etc...

It's definitely a scenic location. I'd still give BMO the edge though, just because of the downtown location. I love shots of BMO that show the city skyline behind the stands.

You mean they are learning from FIFA? :D
