"You obviously want to get a win every time you play, but we knew this was a big game," said Real Salt Lake midfielder Will Johnson. "This was an awesome game between two great teams. We've got a lot of history between us."
The loss was the Galaxy's first defeat of the season, ending Los Angeles' MLS record-tying 12-match unbeaten streak to start the 2010 season. It also extends Real Salt Lake's home unbeaten streak to 16 matches in MLS play and 19 straight overall.

The match had some controversy:


The winning tally came after Pablo Campos punched the ball into a Galaxy defender, with the ricochet coming to Morales for the lone goal of the match.
L.A. argued for an offside call because Morales was in an offside position, however with the ball being played off a defender it became a fair play.

I went last year and after the practice the players came over but you had to really push to get near any of them for an autograph. My kids only wanted Dichio's autograph so that made it easier but it was really hard to get my little ones to the front of the east stand with all the pushy older kids and parents. Dichio saw them struggling and told everyone to move back and let the little ones come up. They got their autograph and they were happy with it and shaking Dichio's hand. You don't get the opportunity for a chat like you do at the 90th Minute or Kick-off dinner if that is what you are looking for though.
