Anyone know what TFC television ratings are like?

In the 100,000s when the games are on CBC and much lower when they are on Sportsnet. And I would assume even lower on Gol TV.

cbc has hit 200k a few times. Our usual on CBC is around 150. Our usual on sportsnet is about 35-40k. Not sure on gol tv but my guess is very minimal. TFC has done a great job with filling the stadium and building a niche fan base, when MTL and VAN join MLS they will begin a stronger push for building a TV audience (i presume).

That's so disappointing. But attendance seemed to be up this weekend (they actually got 18k in Columbus).

attendance is up, tv ratings are down; both from last year. i'm sure the MLS will argue that this means that the recession (which increases tv viewership every year) enticed new consumers to consume the product and the "end of the recession" (i know, its debatable itself) brought those new viewers into the stadiums, where, obviously, they have a closer co-relation towards MLS / club revenues.

i didnt know raptors played on CBC....but i was referring to TFC on CBC often get highter ratings then Raptors on on other channels, but TFC on sportsnet or goal TV is much lower.

No it doesn't! Raptors get better ratings than TFC on other channels (TSN, TSN2 and TheScore) as well. Sportsnet is awful, and thank god Raptors don't play on that channel anymore.

That's kind of weird, proportionally more people watched TFC in the West region than Ontario.
