View Full Version : Ref Forgets Yellow Card, Then Cards Wrong Player

New England Revolution (http://sports.yahoo.com/mls/teams/nwe/)'s Sainey Nyassi was pulled down from behind by Columbus Crew (http://sports.yahoo.com/mls/teams/col/)'s Adam Moffat during the second half of a match a couple weeks ago, which is when the referee slowly realized he was missing something. He searched and searched, patting himself down like a cop looking for contraband, but his cards where nowhere to be found.



He finally made the embarrassing jog over to one of the referee's assistants and grabbed the necessary yellow to show Robbie Rogers/Moffat/who knows. It gets confusing being a referee sometimes.

Ref should have just ripped a piece off of Moffat's own piss-yellow jersey and shown him that.

I don't ee the problem he carded a white guy they all look the same when you are blinded by 11 banana coloured footballers.
