so what is the deal with this injury julian has, and will he be fit to play in vancouver or argentina?

probably not for vancouver, but might be ready for argentina.

Maybe it's one of those injuries you "pick up in training" just to make sure you can play for the team when it's comfotable for you to do so. this way he can have some rest and play a good game with argentina. Show off that he's a good talent and get invited back into europe.
but that's all conspiracy theories.
