I've really been using the video player on mlssoccer.com a lot.

Week 8 thoughts:

Columbus sure has a lot of exciting games. They had a wild win last week and a last-minute victory this week. Their supporter section looks good too, and the rest of the stadium is coming around a little bit, attendance-wise.

Brian McBride got benched! Shades of Claudio Reyna falling apart completely after coming back from Europe.

Danny Mwanga with a great goal to get the tie for PU. That team has a lot of good young players that might put together a run once they get a string of home games.

There's been a lot of goalkeeper howlers in MLS this year, a position that is usually a relative strength for the league. In particular, Dykstra for Chicago and Seitz for PU are not really good enough to be starters. Coundol is also more than capable of putting together some terrible play.

San Jose has quietly turned things around well.
