Turf is from the devil.

It definitely gives other teams something to whine about when they lose.

I'd rather they won because they are skilfull football players, with good team skills, and they have the ability to draw from the crowds energy, and not because we have an unfair advantage that alters the integrity of the game.

The pitch is on steroids. :)

the pitch is the same for both teams....would you rather have RSL's pitch?
you take any advantage you can get, thats why the WCQ game tonight
should have been in Toronto.

The turf does make a difference. The ball skips alot faster on it, it moves differently on it and if you're not expecting that or used to timing it, it'll get away on you.

I think the crowd has a huge part to do with it as well....Most of these teams play in front of 15-20 people. Now all of a sudden there are 20K people calling for their heads. Not only can you not hear yourself think, it's hard to pick up what your teammates are saying as well.

It is a huge homefield edge

It made us look like a playoff contender last year, when in fact we were terrible
