For Jamaica in their 6-0 win over Bahamas. 13-0 on aggregate. His third goal for Jamaica in his career, maybe he can bring that scoring touch here.

Bahamas was way out of their league, but give the guys some credit they gave it a shot..Jamaica doesn't look to worrying though...Honduras, Canada and mexio should make dinner meat out of them.

Anytime a team beats another team 13-0 in aggregate, its hard not to take them seriously, regardless of how poor their opposition was. I think our national team would be wise to bring their A game against ALL their CONCACAF rivals, including Jamaica.

Any idea what kind of goal it was?

Hopefully it was some beautiful strike from way outside. :hump:

The best description I could find -

"39' From a corner, Andy Williams kicks the ball into the box and Tyrone Marshall kicks it into the back of the net."

All I know is Jamaica has been to the world cup more recently than we have.

I think the truth is somewhere in the middle.

One the one hand this version of the Reggae Boyz is FAR from as talented as the 98 team. The Big Soccer reject has a point. On paper Jamaica would probably be #4 in the semi final group.

On the other hand though it's not like we're Brazil or Germany or Holland and can just expect to show up and dominate Concacaf. So even though Jamaica isn't very good we're in no position to take anyone lightly.

Saw the goal ... nothing spectacular. Corner kick rebound to Marshall inside the 18 yd box and he slotted it home.

So Marshall vs Canada. Then Guevara vs Canada? Luckily we won't see our TFC lads on the Mexico opposition...
