SUM U-17 Cup

Does anyone have any info about this? Its the tournament that last year was won by DCU U-17s, for all MLS teams, and qualified them for some huge tourney in spain. Is this being held again this year during the all-star break? I think I heard July 3-9 but...:noidea: If it is during the all-star break will it be in Toronto? And now the most important question of all: Will TFC be submitting a team?

Sick I'm so excited although Dan Tannous and Jarek Whiteman, among others, won't be able to play

I wonder if it will mostly be the U16 academy team strengthened by a few of the eligible players from the U18 team. It’s probably not coincidence that U16 team isn’t playing any CSL reserve matches in July.

I wonder how they decide what age groups they use for these tournaments? Why U17 and not U18?

Does anyone know if realistically we have a shot in our first year?
I mean that would be huge to get to this huge tourney in Spain or even the Dallas Cup super group, the winner last year: Liverpool FC
