"WITH OVER 24,000 SQUARE FEET OF SPACE, THE LARGEST HD SCREEN IN NORTH AMERICA AND CAPACITY FOR JUST UNDER 1,000"

If they use that outdoor screen this place could be incredible for the World Cup this summer.

Will they charge ACC beer prices?

That's the screen they're talking about I think...

It will be a great venue for the WC and anything really... Also great to watch Leaf playoff games even when they're at home - oh wait that ain't gonna happen ;)

I just hope they don't "price us out" by having expensive beer - thus keeping me at my local up Yonge Street...

well it's not really 'tfc news'....

but it's about a job fair and if people are looking for work in the bar/resto industry... there you go.

You can apply for loans through BMO at the door to pay for your meal/drinks.

i can see inflated beer price but not ACC prices. ACC can get away with it because they have a captive audience, but a sportsbar couldn't unless it has some AWESOME extras, and I'm talking HOT naked chicks on poles, not big tv's

Whoops, my bad. Should probably move this thread to the TFC forum.

LOL! Very True...

I think the prices will be right between the average beer price at a d/t bar - and the price inside the ACC...

Just enough for MLSE to make a bigger profit - not too pricey to scare away the crowds...

not really a good plan for running a bar.

I think WEGZ is up there.

I think this bar will probably have similar pricing to WEGZ. Which is, pricier than places like Shoeless Joe's or your average fake Irish pub, but still not as pricey as in stadium.

Remember, this bar is trying to compete with Harbour Sports Grille, Jack Astor's, Casey's etc. All those bars near the ACC. They are going to have to have similar pricing to those places to do so.

I can only imagine the atmosphere in Maple Leaf square if MLSE can ever field some succesful teams.

I'm actually looking forward to this new sports bar. I'm moving to Bay and Harbour this summer. Harbour Sports Grille is OK I guess, but it gets really packed when anything is on (same with Hoops, which is nothing special, down from ACC). This one would be within a 2 minute walk of my condo and with seating for 1000 I wouldn't have to worry about getting seats.

Wait until you see the bar frosted back lit glass that has to be able to support the Rap's dance squad post match. (Not kidding it's to double as a stage for cheer leaders)

It's a huge project and keeping me employed! :drinking:

Isn't their logo a ripoff of something?

Why am I thinking 2k sports logos?
