^ Have you stayed there before? It's in a pretty good location to be honest.

it's right across the street from the train station, a 8$ cab ride to the casino and a 10 minute walk to Ste Catherine street

Great find. I'd love to jump on the offer, but I'm still not certain on the # of people going with me, etc. I guess we'll end up in a cheap hotel somewhere in shitville. Oh, sorry, Montreal, I mean.

this is thru travelzoo, you just follow their link and it takes you to the hosts website, where you usually input their given code. It's very reliable, and it's no cheapy usually if you decide to cancel there is no penalty.

Just booked the room at the Delta using the Travelzzo promo. For 3 people in a two bedroom room, the total came out to $160 after taxes. Excellent deal!

Looking forward to seeing you guys down there. Thanks again for the link, Jazzy.

I'm using Le 1 Rene Levesque.

I'm staying in the city until Saturday and the three nights are costing me a total of $315 after taxes.

It's not a posh hotel by any means, I think it is a long-stay hotel used a lot as off campus student housing. Every room includes fridge, stove, microwave, etc,. It's right on the corner of Rene Levesque and St. Laurent, so the adult entertainment is literally right around the corner. It's also only like a 3 minute walk to the St. Laurent Metro station which is the line we take from the Peel Pub to Saputo.

I found it perfectly acceptable last year. Hell, they even have a Couche Tarde (which is what I think the Mac's chain is called in Quebec) in the hotel so you don't even have to go out of the hotel for snacks and libations.
