My Arsenal play Barcelona today in the Champions League Quarter Finals. And it got me thinking about having to choose between TFC and the Champions League Final on May 22nd.

I'll tell you this... after watching United in the CL final and then going straight to a TFC game that night (I think it was DC? we won anyway)... it was the hardest TFC game I've ever watched, and from what I remember they actually played fairly well.

They did, they won 1-0 on Dichio's goal in the 9th.

But it is definitely very hard to go from the Elite of the World, to the MLS style.

Even going from watching United/EPL on Saturday Am to watching TFC is a bit of a challenge. Not a slag on TFC or MLS, just you can really see the quality gap.

that's a big game for you guys. good luck they are going to be hard to beat.
last year the final was a great game unless you are a united fan. I think they might repeat again this year.

as for CL vs TFC. there's no competition. i don't have season and if I did I'd be giving them away for that game. this is football at the highest level. doesn't get any better.

Partly true. I try to watch as many MLS games as I can and there are some teams that play truly entertaining football. Seattle, NYRB, Chicago, Galaxy and Kansas City all look like entertaining teams this year. Its hard for me to go from watching these MLS teams play to TFC play, imagine how hard it will be after I watch the CL game today. :(

Why? Arsenal will not be in the final anyway. :D

To your point, yes, it is tough to watch the MLS after watching any top teams from Europe play. However, I do find it easier if I'm a neutral to the game being played by the big clubs. It's when you're emotionally invested in the big game when I find it very tough to generate the same emotion watching TFC.

The real kick in the nuts will be if CBC moves the game to Bold if there is a conflict with playoff hockey.
