MLS is using TFC's digital supplier for TFC-TV to power their new http://www.mlssoccer.com (http://www.mlssoccer.com/)website.

Another example of how TFC is teaching the league how to do things:

Leading IPTV service provider NeuLion (http://www.neulion.com/) (TSX: NLN) and Major League Soccer (http://www.mlssoccer.com/) (MLS), the top-flight professional soccer league in the United States, today announced a new partnership for a dedicated online video service built and managed by NeuLion. A new MLS integrated digital experience, MatchDay Live, is now available via the MLS homepage -- www.MLSsoccer.com (http://www.mlssoccer.com/) -- to deliver high definition (HD) quality video and other content to soccer fans worldwide.

Columbus view of TFC fans:

Toronto FC fans did not travel to Columbus in numbers as large as they did the past two seasons but a sizable group returned to the south stands. They didn't tear up the bleachers as they did last year, but a couple of their lit road flares ended up on the canvas roof of a party pavilion below their section and put the safety of the fans in the tent in at risk. Classy.

Some post game analysis outlining some areas Preki/TFC should be aware of in terms of overextending some of the players capabilities. Garcia, Attakora, OBW in particular.

In the first half, Garcia’s mis-hit back pass to ’keeper Stefan Frei was stolen by Crew forward Guillermo Barros Schelotto, forcing Frei to bail out the veteran defender. And Schelotto’s second-half empty netter was the result of an errant Garcia clearance which was clanged off Frei’s back.

Can we get rid of him already? Seriously, worst player out there. Harden did his best to look just as stupid in the back, but try as hard as he may, Harden will never look as bad as Garcia.

Defender Ty Harden, who came to Toronto in a trade from Colorado last month, said "we're not all quite on the same page yet in the back line" and the break will help.

given the situation, it looked like they're at least on the same chapter.

I hope Harden is a quick learner cause his play in general wasn't too impressive

Interesting. By "worldwide" I guess they mean, only the US and Canada, and not to the "local market" of each MLS team, for both home & away games. Makes sense to me!

I really was hoping to see a new and improve Garcia, but he can't be counted on knowing which book we're reading.

That Sun article was just amazing. I've never read that paper in my life (my parents raised me properly), so when I do see its content here and other places online I am always absolutely stunned.

For years, the Toronto Sun had the best sports section in the city. Mainly due to a ton of cutbacks they've let the Star catch up to them.

Defender Nana Attakora, who lined up on the right back position previously occupied by Wynne, blamed the goal on "miscommunication," saying there was confusion over whether they were playing a man-to-man defence or covering the free kick with a zone.

This is Garcia's fault. As the veteran Centre back, he should be organizing that back line. Clearly, he isn't doing that job either.

Just saying.

garcia should not be allowed to dress. any other half wit who's younger, taller and faster will do better. the worst part is that garcia is so dilusional to see himself as a leader back thare - a general. what a walking disaster he is. he should be ashamed and throw himself down a deep well.

After reading that article about Marvell Wynne, it makes sense that he would be good at center back. A team could play a high defensive line knowing that Wynne will just catch up to any allowed breakaways. He also doesn't have to play around with the ball much, could end up being a brilliant move!

Why did we not play Wynne at CB?????

Maybe because he is a shite defender. Just saying.

^ I was going to point all of it out. His size, his poor positioning, ect. ect. ect. But I do not have the energy today, so "shite defender" says it all for now.

well, Wynne's helluva vertical leap makes up for some of his height. But not his terrible positioning IQ though lol

Sure, but he does not have the size needed, he gets physical but the way he gets physical is with his patented two handed push. That spells trouble for a CB.

Having said that he is a good dude, I wish him the best. I just do not see it at this point.
