Good Morning all:

Wanted to let you all know that I will be blogging this season over at http://tfcpics.com/blog.html (http://tfcpics.com/blog.html).

The tfcpics.com website has been redesigned for this upcoming season and Scotty asked if I would be interested in posting some random thoughts on all things TFC.

It'll be called The View From The South Stands

I hope you all enjoy it. Please feel free to leave comments and unlike Bill Archer I won't be editing them. http://209.85.62.26/html/emoticons/tongue.gif

One of my best friends is Leeds fan. If there is one club outside of the Premiership that deserves to be in on the spirit of their fanbase alone it is Leeds United.

I don't know anything about European football, but I've realized that in Toronto we get the teams we ask for.

I remember when Pat Gillick went from being Stand Pat to Trader Pat and turned the Blue Jays around - he changed the mentality of the team and the way he did business. Jays fans don't often try to run players out of town.

But for some reason MLSE teams' fans get right into the details picking heroes and goats and blaming all the problems on one or two guys and looking for a saviour. It seems to be much more personality-based with the MLSE fan base. I have no idea why that is. And also, MLSE teams really have little or no expectation of winning championships.
