Doh. First:)

Kayizzi: He was lucky that shot even went forward, it looked like an extremely weak shot, that miraculously went in. In other words, it was the shitty goalkeepers fault.

Kayizzi had the vision and pace to put himself into a good position to take the pass, he didn't panic when he had the ball in front of the goal, took his time, chose where to put the ball, and scored a fine goal.

I say this if the player are not back to work with a deal for the 1st season game. They can kiss the mls good bye forever.

He never was fat. Retards just don't know the difference between being jacked and fat.

Oh he was fat. When he played for the Lynx and Riverhounds, he was a genuine pie man.

He's not fat now, though.

On the Kayizzi goal, I love the little dummy run (DeRo, I think) which attracts the central defender and actually lets the ball go through to the right side. Shows great awareness (and doesn't even earn an assist) .

I should have clarified, he's never been fat with Toronto FC. Even last year he wasn't fat, anyone who says otherwise is clueless.

I wouldn't quite call myself a genius (although I have the credentials to make a decent case), that term is reserved for the great minds. But compared to you and the other Gerba haters, I'm at Einstein's level.

Good one^

For the record I am not a Gerba hater at all. I am simply calling it as I see it. He has never, ever looked dangerous for TFC besides one decent goal vs Columbus last year. The rest of the time he has been slow, sluggish, late to every ball, out tackled, out muscled, almost disinterested and most importantly not a threat to score.

Anyone disagree with that assessment?

That's an accurate assessment. I would have underlined disinterested, though.

Did you watch TFC vs NYRB last night? It's pretty clear that our players haven't forgotten last year. In fact, it really seems like nothing has changed at all...

Former TFC player Derek Gaudet ends up signing with the Portland Timbers. Best of luck to him.

Because a nothing game in the pre-season is an excellent measure of how the team will perform when it comes down to the wire.

Nothing game or not, we still got our asses handed to us yet again by the same team.

Didn't deny that.

I'm just saying we have doom and gloom over one game in the preseason. Last year's pre-season actually went pretty good, yet we didn't make playoffs.

Making predictions based on pre-season is stupid and unproductive.

not doom and gloom, but IMO it's an indicator that things haven't yet changed from where we were last season.

im curious to see whether these are actually chances for garcia to prove himself and not find himself on the bench unless its an extreme circumstance this season

the game before that, against FC Dallas, could be an indicator that things have changed from last season.

but I'm not gonna say that.. I'm not gonna cherry pick one result and make it into some indicator of anything.
