So, after reading the game report all I could think of was "how many fucking headers are we trying?". I counted 6 headers in the article (including our goal) and only a few shots with the feet. I guess that means we're getting better service from out wide, and might be down to Preki trying out some wingers (since we really lacked width last year) while our central players (DeRo, DeGuz, etc) weren't playing. I guess that's a good thing (trying out wide players in these games and telling them to put as many crosses into the box as possible to see how good they are) it just struck me as odd.

That's a good thing IMO. Our service from the outside has been next to non-existant these past 3 years.

Emmanuel Gomez is already fouling people in the box..he needs to be careful with that, I remember it costing us dearly last season.

In 3 years we've had 2 players who could cross the ball - O'Brien and Robert...and neither one stuck around long enough.
