Dwayne DeRosario addresses some of the rumours that have been circulating about his contract, clears the air about his intentions for the national team and updates us on the status of his injury.

We're also joined by the co-founder of the Sons of Ben to talk some trash and set the scene for the inaugural year of the Philadelphia Union.

And Ben Knight and Duane Rollins argue about a tiny star on a TFC kit that will be worn exactly six times.

I listened to it. DeRo's response about the contract is a bit vague. AFAI can tell, he seemed more concerned about the length of the contract than about the amount, at least in this interview. (Only one year guaranteed, and related lack of stability for his family.) He doesn't seem to want to talk much about the whole thing, but also doesn't just restrict himself to "no comment."

I hate to nitpick (actually I love it), but six?

Someting that caught my attention with the SOB interview..

seems Philly are allocating tickets to visiting supporters..on a trade off basis it seems.....

for example....if TFC open up 100 tickets for them...they'll open up 100 for US....

If TFC give PHILLY 70 they'll give us 70!! ect..ect..ect

I like this idea...it puts pressure on TFC to make room for more visiting supporters!

Seems TFC will have to help us out if we want to bring a shit load to philly!

Right now we offer 100 seats to away support..so as of now seems.....thats about how many tickets we'll get for a philly trip?

This will only be an issue when we play philly..as other teams in our area dont travel that big...or sell out for that fact!....

So i hope TFC and PHILLY can make some kind of an arrangement to take care of TFC supporters and SOB...when we play!

Seriously, now I'm confused (I can't listen to it from work). Are there not four games, or are they going to wear it another time?

We're going to wear it all through the Champions League right to the championship, aren't we?

If TFC have any smarts, they will hold a section of the North End for visitors first.
Right now, I think the visitor capacity is 100 tickets.
If they can get assurances from visiting supporters that they need perhaps 300 tickets,
then they should allocate that number of seats within the North.

It's not rocket science... but for some reason I have little faith in TFC for doing this right.

Yes, DeRo was vague regarding the contract, but I think the good thing here is that generally he sounded pumped up and ready to get back on the field.

I've often wondered about how a player who may love the team, the city, the fans, his teammates and coach will play if he's having disagreements with upper management. Would it affect him or not (think Robinho)?

But it sounds like even though he's not happy with his contract it's not going to have any impact on him on the field.
