I was shocked and very saddened to learn very late - just this past saturday in fact - a friend of mine from highschool, Damien Evans died in December.

He was a season ticket holder in 112 from day one who quietly went about his business. I, nor anyone else, will not see him in 112 this yr as I usually do which bites. I want to say in and around row 15-20 ish....a bigger fellow....amazingly nice, maybe too nice! A great TFC fan.

Anyways, just want to say RIP buddy....I know he didn't come on here much. If anyone else knows him I'm certain you can vouch he was a terrific, terrific lad! Take care up there, boots. :(:(:(

I feel there should be some kind of tribute in 112 on opening day, whether its a banner, a moments silence, a special chant or a wreath on his seat....something to acknowledge our respect, and also his contribution to 112.

For sure Exiled. I'll leave it up to the original 112ers to decide how they want to honour him. I did not know Damien personally, but given that I have been in 112 the last couple years I am sure I passed by him without realizing it. I can assist on any efforts.

We already have a tribute banner of sorts in the works for Alistair Fairweather. A STH who was often at RPB tailgates.

I was in a very similar position last October - made it by a thread I was told by the emerge and Cardiac team at Toronto General (and I thank them all, they are wonderful, amazing people) and after being stabilized in the (CICU) Cardiac Intense Care Unit, was given a stent (my 2nd) - during this, thoughts of family/children, friends and life filled me but one of my thoughts was "I'd really love to go to another TFC game" weird as it may sound it was an intense experience ....I don’t know what to say but i profoundly relate and feel so sad and sorry to hear this news…family and friends are everything and MOST important always but I know, and I don’t say it frivolously, but Damian felt the breath and blood of TFC as well…and still does …rest his soul…I pray that he feels the warmth and love of his family and friends forever and every pulse of all of us from TFC each and every game. <3

I'm sure he is still cheering on TFC, just in a very special section.

It was held towards the field for a bit, then was turned back towards his seat and friends in 112.
