Fellow RPB

I just created a FLOGS Calendar featuring the Toronto FC 2010 Season Schedule. You can downloaded from the flogs site and add it to your calendar via outlook, Blackberry, or iPhone.

http://www.flogs.com/c/Toronto_FC_-_2010_Season/229032 (http://www.flogs.com/c/Toronto_FC_-_2010_Season/229032)

Enjoy!

In case you do not know what Flogs is:
Website containing calendars of events. With the touch of a button, you can add your favourite sporting events (i.e. TFC, World Cup 2010, Seria A, Champions League, etc), concerts, CD releases and other events in the field of music, gaming, film, books, art and financial markets to your personal digital organizer.

Interesting.
So this just inserts the dates into your existing calender?

Can I add this to my iTouch as well?

Yes. You would just have to create an account on the website which is free and download the app.

Not sure if it will work with iTouch, try the iphone download.

Awesome! I just did it.

I hadn't even set up my email account on my iTouch yet.
So I just accomplished a couple of tasks.
It was easy, and now all the TFC dates are in my calender.

Gotta ask though...
What happens when a date or start time gets changed?
Is there a way to update the schedule, or will I have to do that manually?

Cool.

I created it - so if I make changes to the calendar on their site, it should "Sync" with everyone elses, when they choose to "sync" calendar in the app.

^ but I don't have the app

All I did was open the link in the email on my iTouch and it inserted the dates into my calender.

For anyone going the gmail calendar route, this will setup a separate calendar in gmail. This one is called "Toronto FC 2010 Season".

If it won't sync go to this site and select the calendars you want to sync with your device.

EDIT: ^ Looks like you have to use your device to access this site.

Hi All, fyi - just as another alternative - Google already has a series of automatically maintained sports schedules, which is you're using Google Calendar already, you can easily add as additional Calendars - I've added one for my English club team - as well as the England national Team and Toronto FC, they work quite well - more information here: http://gmailblog.blogspot.com/2009/09/new-in-calendar-sports-schedules-and.html

Don't know if anyone noticed this, but most games in the first week are going to be televised on an American channel (not counting DirectTV). I wonder if it will be this way for the whole season...
