From my understanding he will be working with the strikers at practice

Good.

And somebody get the memo out to Paul Bierne (*sp?) that the South End be renamed the Danny Dichio End.

Playoffs first priority, Dichio End second.

NEW Rule, if you want to get your thread viewed put Dichio in the title.

he tweeted the other day "Just started our very long pre-season today"... so he's on staff at least for pre-season.

he told us in the fall he is part of the team and will do whatever it takes to get things done --- he will be tfc for many years to come

DD would be a great resource for younger players.

Someone to talk to if a player is uncomfortable talking to the coaches who pick the game day lineups about any given thing for example.

Danny has his coaching certificate and stated he wanted to get experience. Sounds like the academy might be a good place to practice although he may be more comfortable with players who are a little older/more mature.

Danny has also played the game at many different levels and so assisting on scouting missions to major tournaments might also be a good fit.

And of course he has always been a great guy PR wise hasn't he?

I don't care if he's just something like "Club Ambassador", he's a class act and having him around is good for the club.

The Dichio Stand would be preferrable. No offence to Danny but I have no intention of being in his "end" thank you very much!
