(http://smokespoutinerie.com/)Smoke's Poutinerie (http://smokespoutinerie.com/) has just signed a deal with BMO Field (http://web.mlsnet.com/t280/stadium/) to sell its Toronto brand of poutine in the stadium's CNE grounds parking lot during the upcoming Toronto FC (http://www.mlsnet.com/t280/) season's 40 games.

When they first opened, I spoke with the owner, and he told me that he was involved with the initial branding of TFC, including the shield logo. With the history, this move doesn't suprise me at all.

So I can now overpay for poutine at BMO, when I can just go to Smoke's after?

I am incredibly excited for this...
I wonder what the instadium menu will be like....
I'm guessing a scaled down operation...as it currently takes a few minutes for an order to be processed.

I'm guessing it'll be the simpler items.

The article mentions it will be in the parking lot. Smoke's has a Chip Truck they use for special events and what not. I would think the prices would be the same.

This BTW, is great news.

This is great! Great to see TFC increasing the game-day experience.

This is the best signing all year! (although, it's only January).

I wonder where they will set up?
Will this have any impact on the TFC tailgate vis-a-vis where we will be expected to set up?

I entered this forum thinking we had a key signing for our team...a frenchman from an obscure club...totally disappointed...although it was a key off-pitch signing. :P

Or some journo hack that knows nothing about TFC did 5 seconds of research (or worse, none, and asked someone else equally in the dark) and decided that TFC plays 40 games a season, without making the giant mental leap to realise that some of the games may not be played at home.
