Unlike some of the other stories out there... this one actually has some meat and actual sources. Props to Molinaro for putting together a good piece. He's making his peers look amateur.


"Both sides have conceded certain things that are important to each party and now we only have two or three major stumbling blocks, which is a lot better where we were two weeks ago when we had 15 or 16," Onstad said.

thanks for the kind words. Onstad is a great guy to interview because he's a straight shooter and tells it like it is.

My feeling form talking to Pat and others is that there won't be a work stoppage and they'll get a deal done.

But will it be done by Feb 1 or will they keep negotiating past that date, while training camps run on. I wonder. I'd like to hear it's done by Feb 1 so we could move on and see what the new deal means for clubs.
