And apparently ... Bolton passed. Probably works out much better for him.

Good for him...MLS needs to recognize they are losing talent in the current CBA and this is one more example that adds to the argument.

dont see this rumor on any of the portuguese sites... Also at this time i have a hard time believing he would get a lot of playing time with squad Braga has now. He won't start over Mossoro or Viana, and Braga already signed 2 other midfielders in January (Rafael Bastos and Luis Aguiar) who both i actually rate higher then Holden as well...

The starting 11 of the top teams in the Portuguese league would be tough teams to crack for 99% of MLS players.

Maybe its a life style choice? Better weather etc. He doesn't care if he starts.

even bolton's coach has said they haven't said no to him. Seems to be a mad up story. Holden's good though, so just because he was in MLS, I wouldn't knock him. He may be our starting Right Middie at the WC.

Yeah, looking closer the source is " The Daily Mirror" = epic fail. Bolton have also said they haven't made a decision yet.
Can we merge this back into the original thread?
