MLS Combine and NASL general meeting 'happen' to both be in Ft. Lauderdale?

NASL: No strange coincidence (http://www.rednationonline.ca/NASL_No_Strange_Coincidence_jan_5_10_column.shtml)

The CSA made the decision to sanction Montreal and Vancouver in December, meaning that they still can compete for a national championship.

I can understand why the CSA won't sanction the whole NASL, however, sanctioning MTL and VAN is good policy. Why should strong Canadian teams suffer because of what happens in the U.S.?

....er because they too made the decision to walk away from a sanctioned league. Look the CSA is a joke. Professionally, TFC, VAN, and MTL seem to call the shots. Someone back me up on this, but didn't TFC, VAN, MTL create this championship, then give it to the CSA to run?

MNT-wise and the next two years, the CSA is doing nothing but phkn the dog. The last thing they need is for TFC, VAN, and MTL pissed at them.

maybe TFC, MTL and VAN could help create a new national entity?

Has MLS ever considered building a national soccer stadium to be the main location for national team games and to host the MLS cup final every year? Sorta like an american wembley?

i think an american wembley wouldnt work...

just the distances people would have to go to get to a game....would be crazy.

they cant even build a stadium for a team that will play there all the time.
