US forward Eddie Johnson loaned to Greece's Aris

LONDON (AP) — American forward Eddie Johnson has been loaned from Fulham to Greek club Aris through June.
The 25-year-old has just four appearances for the Cottagers this season, making his first start since March 2008 in a League Cup match against Manchester City and entering as a reserve in Premier League games against Aston Villa and West Ham and a Europa League qualifier against Vetra.
Johnson left Major League Soccer's Kansas City Wizards to sign with Fulham in January 2008, then was loaned to Cardiff City for the 2008-09 season. He last month made his first appearance for the U.S. national team since June 2008.
Fulham announced the loan Thursday.

Just thought I'd pass this on because we all called it.

Ives now reporting MLS has signed more of their GA / Draft targets. It's been a successful year for them in that regard. Hopefully the talent is at least 1/2 as good as last year.

The only notable exception is Luis Gil, who looks Arsenal bound but is probably too young to contribute in a MLS setup at this point.

^^^RESERVE LEAGUE

needs to be implemented
i think only a handful will be able to make the jump this year,
the others will rot on the bench not playing any games so again i say,

RESERVE LEAGUE

UCLA's GK Brian Perk and Wake Forest's midfielder Austin de Luz have both signed with the MLS and entered into the SuperDraft.

Yeah, i don't think you'll find anybody to argue with that. Something definitely needs to be done. MLS2 is the best solution IMO. similar to a minor league baseball setup.

Then you won't see any more stupidity like the team athletic trainer suiting up as the spare defender or a league pool goalie who's called on in case of an emergency. That's purely amateur hour.

I'm guessing the Argos are one as well - I mean they only have to win 3 more games to double their win total... LOL
