Since I'm FIRST, a minor issue but Teal is not a native of Minnesota since he was born in Ontario. Out of interest, I checked his US school's roster which indicates he was "originally" born in Ontario.

Canada is currently ranked 56th in the world, compared to No. 81 for Jamaica.

when did canada move up to 56th in the world? I thought we were a lot higher than that... say around the 100 mark?!

Got to protect your "intellectual property." If B&D wants the "glory" of being associated with MLS, they have to pay the piper (unlikely that MLS would take them on as a "partner," though, as they already have a deal with their competitor, Makita).

Bunbury, from what I know was good or at least helped fill a position on the team. I've never seen Teal Bunbury play but I would assume he is capable of filling an MLS position. Now question is - Cap him now or later or not at all?

Canada Vs Jamaica- Hoilett should be invited to play by both national teams in this one, if he decides not to play for Canada thats fine, but if he delays his decision, CMNT should just tell him to kindly f@#$ off.

SSG: There should have been a poll for this- Are vampire chicks hot?..What if you dress them up like cowgirls, would ya?

I'm glad to see that Canada is making more of an effort to schedule friendlies. This can only help us in the long run.

NBF, I agree with you, we should try capping Hoilett now and see how that pans out. I hope that he'll choose Canada but based on what I've read it doesn't look likely.

so blody typical

too many high level... defections in last few years that nobody wants to commit to shambles that is Canada. can't blame them though

every chance we have, cap every eligible player for Canada. even if it cost us pts in WCQ. bah!

it's a self-fulfilling prophecy. By that, I mean if those players didn't defect, the team would probably be a lot better. If TFC could put little De Guzman, Owen hargreaves, Begovic, and other defectors out there, the team could probably succeed despite the CSA's problems. that's my theory at least.
