he also had 3 seasons as player in MLS, so he's not completely dark about MLS and its stupid rules

Article mentions he coached NE in 98-99. He did OK with Palermo from what I recall. I do not remember the record, but I saw them play underhim and they were well organized, played well against big clubs, I saw them against Juve and Milan in particular.
