TFC at Jack Astors - Mississauga tonight.

Toronto FC's Pub Crawls continue on Thursday night (November 19) in Mississauga. You can meet players and enjoy free appetizers at Jack Astor's Mississauga City Centre location. Head to Jack's at 219 Rathburn Road W. The event starts at 7:00 p.m. :scarf:

Out of curiosity to people who have gone to these before, how long do they last.
My team plays it's final game of the season tonight at 7:00 and no doubt will go out after we win the "Tin Cup".

The downtown Toronto one is on the sked for next Tuesday (the 24th) I think.

My team plays for the gold cup at 8pm tonight. Whee.

thats around the corner from me.. will be nice to check out the event.. although i will have to watch my tone with the players im still alittle red

As an aside, TFC_Chris' team indeed claimed the tin cup, losing 3-2.

We, on the other hand, claimed the whole enchilada. 0-0 after regulation, 14 shooters in PKs, we scored 1. They scored 0. :)

Chad Barrett and Stefan Frei were the players in Mississauga.

went last night .. Had a good talk with stefan and barrett. I couldn't believe how nice the two guys were and chad definetely impressed me as a real down to earth kind a guy.. he did mention to me that he didn't really like the roll cummins placed him in and that he wanted to redeem himself next season and show that he has that scoring prowess we hired him to be ... he said there was no need to hire more strikers becuase he felt there was enough talent in the squad that could do the job..
I couldn't help myself in telling him that his first instinct sucked and that he needed to chill on his eagerness and just to calm himself down a tad bit when hes in striking position..
Told him to watch youtube videos of latin american players in striking position and to copy them .. that didn't go down well with him but i had to say something..
as a final point I asked them both thier thoughts on who would win the world cup and chad said england and stefan said switzerland..

You had the stones to say what none of us would. Kept it positive, but let him know. Its easy to have a pleasant conversation and have a "hug fest". Sounds like you had a nice conversation, and dropped him a hint. Be it a not so subtle hint. Good on ya man.

The only real pub crawls TFC had were waay back in the fall of 2006 when they actually hit real pubs of the various communities.

The only real pub crawls TFC had were waay back in the fall of 2006 when they actually hit real pubs of the various communities.

Indeed- I was at the Duke of Gloucester with Mo and "our team of Jimmy B's". Coughed up me $50 next day if I recall.
