Yep, that's probably a likely scenario given the track record so far. :D

Garber needs the Galaxy to win because if they go down, it would solidify the public's perception that the "Beckham Experiment" was a failure. This is likely the last chance the Galaxy and the league have to justify the signing of Beckham and hype he built up around that.

The article says that Beckham will join Milan after the final which isn't really true - he's not going until January. I think the article is suspect.

Don't count RSL out, they have looked very good in all of their playoff games so far. They play a very good brand of soccer, they try to keep it on the ground, play a very good brand of possesion keep away soccer and look vey good doing it. LA on the other hand can't keep the ball as good as RSL and don't look as organized as RSL. Therefore, don't be surprised if RSL come out on top in this encounter.

and that is one good reason why MLS is bush league...the team with the most points wins the league in all other countries.
