Imagine if the headlines read TFC instead of RSL:
Devastating defeat for RSL
All season, its problems on the road have hurt Real Salt Lake.
Finally, they might have proved fatal.
Once again unable to muster points on the road, Real Salt Lake fell 1-0 at Toronto FC on Saturday to all but assure it will miss the playoffs for the fourth time in its five seasons of existence. The team's only sliver of a chance now comes down to a long-shot series of results in the final week of the Major League Soccer regular season, after its 11th loss in 15 road games.
"We put so much into that game," coach Jason Kreis said. "I'm so proud of what the guys put forth in that match, and I think we have to consider ourselves fairly unlucky not to have taken any of those chances that we had and we'd be sitting in a different position. But for me, the game is a little bit of a microcosm of the season."

It sounds... so familiar... at least it's not TFC this time.
