it's because I was using a 'magnum' which I always hated - the chisel tip is just too junky.

(and the banner team didn't have an mean streaks in their supply box)

Magnums are ok for the first couple of uses. i quite like chisel tips, but prefer the pilot super or whatever it's called. the one that's easily refillable.

paint markers are the best, fill those with ink and you got some drips out the wazooo. otherwise, shoe polish containers work well.

yes. and a good way to replace your felt tips was to steal chalkboard erasers and cut them up.

i guess i can be the RPB marker salvager for future gridding purposes

parky... sometimes streaks and oil pastels will look similar on smooth walls.

the worst part - we were all in socks because we didn't want to track water on to the banner.
Add the fact that the water was highway run off..... (filled with oil, grime and gas).

I hope everyone washed in between their toes when they got home.

It was crazy. We knew the weather was coming, but that storm came in a flash. One second everything was calm, the next second I was leaping on to the banner so it didn't blow away.

This was beyond amazing. The people who spearheaded this and everyone who worked on it should be beaming with pride. I can't see anything of that magnatude ever being surpassed by a supporters group in north american sport.

ya. Creatting a banner for next year that we could use more then once would be awsome. Could bring it out for big matches such as a playoff game, or Champion Leage match.

We can use the one we have when they make the play-offs!

Remove the Dichio pic! It already says "Thank you" and when they win in the finals - paint a picture of the trophy.... and the words "Thank you" remain!...see multi use!

....or ne xt year... paint a picture of grass and leave the words "Thankyou"! (<- That one's my fav!):D

Parkie, finally got the chance to see the video. As usual, great job! Amazing job by everybody on the banner - one of the proudest moments I've had as an RPB! Having the crowd increase the roar after the banner was rolled out and Danny's expression was awesome!

What a great video!
Thank you so much for making it.
I was able to show it to my son and I almost got chocked up seeing Danny come up and thank everyone for it.
