But seriously. I think that there is more to the story of why CC won't start them. I can't quite figure it out. Ever since the Ramadan fasting articles they hardly even mention them. There has to be something going on that we don't know.

I thought it telling that Cummins supposedly "forgot" about Sanyang on Saturday. He comes from a culture where fans would think there was something a little deeper to that, like that fact that Sanyang has had four European scouts after him already and is on an unguaranteed contract. Maybe Mo decided they can't show him this year until he's under new terms.

Honestly, I think they want an experienced CB next to Nana. Playing two young, inexperienced CB's is usually a recipe for disaster. Pretty standard, by the book stuff there. I wonder if Cummins is simply sticking with that philosophy?
