Anyone going to New York for the final game? Just found out from work that I am going to be in New York that weekend, would love to check out the game!
Does anyone know what section TFC fans will be in? :)

Good timing.

Yeah there will be a TFC contingent there. Game time decision for me.

Don't think that narrows it down much... :D

No we haven't gotten tickets yet. I'm assuming(hoping) the box office will tell us where the away fans are.

It's the last game that New York will play at this throwball stadium.

When I was there last year, we were in the 2nd level and there was nobody else up there except us. There was about 5000 or so NYRB fans scattered in the lower bowl. We bought the cheapest seat and then just went and sat with the TFC fans since there was lots of room. Nobody checked tickets or anything since we were wearing TFC shirts they assumed we had them for that section and wanted to keep us there anyways.

Scalpers for NYRB matches actually sell below face value and compete with the box office for sales. Hell one of them came up to me while i was at the ticket booth and she had to threaten to get the cops before he would go away.

hahaha, ya considerring its a meanningless game for NYRB and there is gonna be NFL gridlines all over the field they probably will have less then 10,000 fans at the game. You probably can go sit where ever you want!

Great, thanks for the info. I guess I'll just pick up tickets on game day.

I called 1-877-RBSOCCER and got tickets in the away section for $20 each. She gave me the group rate.:scarf:

So how many do you think will make this road trip? I live in Mass, and so I plan on going. It's an obviously important game--they could use the support.

I just happen to visit my son on saturday and will be in New Jersey with party of five...add five more supporters to the crowd. What should we do buy cheap tickets and then move over to where supporters are?
