Okay, so it's a propaganda piece on Don Garber's 10th anniversary as Commish, but it does give some idea of what he's done.

Aug. 4: Don Garber named as second commissioner in MLS history. Nov. 17: Significant competition changes announced (shootout abolished; playing time to be kept on field).
It didn't take him long to realize that soccer in the US needs to follow the same rules as elsewhere. That, along with inventing S.U.M. (which gave financial stability to MLS) are his biggest contributions.
