A good friend of mine has just opened an absolutely beautiful, top-of-the-line gym in Vaughan. Danny Dichio is offering training sessions there on Wednesday evenings. At the conclusion (should you survive :D) participants are given a signed jersey, signed ball, and signed photo. Also included is a 2 month free membership. As of now there are only 10 spots left.

Can you imagine if he was running a class on watching football and drinking?

He'd fill the BMO Field winterdome every class.

Danny Dichio's Camp Carlsberg!

Saturday's will never be the same!

Be prepared to piss like the pros!

Only 1,600 spots available!

I believe it's $735 for 7 sessions, and you get 2 months membership at the place. It is an awesome facility.

$735 ?!~[increase font size / bold / etc.]

Sorry mate, that equals a bi-weekly mortgage and car payment, or canskate lessons and new skates for the kids.

The chance to meet Danny, use this fine facility and get some swag is a fine thing, but I sense not many around here will have that kind of dosh to chuck about at this point.

Good luck, though.

just to break it down:

2 months high end gym membership - $120
signed tfc jersey - $160
signed ball and photos - $100

you are paying though the nose, but at least the stuff you get does have a real value.

^ sure, but that's for TFC tat. I reckon the stuff you'll get in this deal will be worth somewhat less than what you suggest.

The real value here is in the experience - it's just way outside my (and probably most people's) budget.

^^ I think two months at a high end gym would add up to a little more than $120.

And personal training is not cheap (7 sessions especially)
Add to that the local celebrity that will be instructing you...
Plus the swag Parky mentioned...

I think the price is about right.
Out of my league though.

Actually if I wasn't in the middle of a whole bunch of stuff and if I hadn't worn down my knee this summer overplaying footie, I would definitely sign up.

Hopefully Danny has a few of these coming up.

I think his kids soccer training program is well priced. I'd jump at that and take my daughter if I could work out the logistics.

I dont think the swag you get is TFC stuff since Danny is retired. More like DD personalized stuff. Official merch sucks anyway :p
