can someone explain how official scorer gives double assit on Casy goal, Kimura/Cummings and doesn't give Cronin assist on OB's goal. Cronin's entry pass to DeRo was much more influential to goal, than a short chest pass before a lop into the box.Anyone know the rules for giving assits? our players should be getting benefits on these call @BMO

Why so they can point to their stats and get a bigger contract? No thanks. Its all about the team here, we won and less assists is better for the team if you think about it.

This is North American soccer. They're following on from the NCAA system. It comes from that innate need of North Americans to staticize everything.

Personally, I'm just generally amused that they even give out assists. :)
