big big Day for grass today...

I'm glad MLSE is this committed to bringing grass at BMO...

it really shouldn't suprise anyone that MLSE wants grass, etc. If you look at the renos brian colangelo did for the raptors locker room and the ice quality improvements of the acc for the leafs, as well as the new practice facility, you can see that MLSE is committed to bringing the best quality facilities for the teams....

CHECK THE MF Referee for tomorrow's game.
CAN WE NOT CATCH A GOD DAMNED BREAK :-(

Platts is right.

REFEREE: Baldomero Toledo. That is horrible news. This guy rips off Toronto every time he referees one of our games. Dubious penalties called against us, etc. Some other teams have complained about his reffing. Easily the worst ref in MLS (after the suspension of several bad ones last week).

Used Artificial Turf From $1.00 sq ft.http://www.ondecksports.com/index.php?fuseaction=products.artificialturf_used&gclid=COiBvKnE6ZwCFRPyDAodkRtEkQ

This Turf is Perfect For:

Dugouts
Coaches Boxes
Football sidelines
Track covers
Paintball facilities
Soccer/Lacrosse facilities
Doggie Day Cares
Dog Runs
and many more

Turf is valuable!

Maybe BMO Field's turf's ultimate use will be for dogs to poop on! (somehow a fitting end).

I don't know, some games I watch the ball bounce all over the place and see those black pellets come flying up out of the turf everytime someone takes a step and I think, "I wouldn't let my dog crap on that stuff."

But if it meant getting rid of it and putting in grass, I'd take a few feet off their hands ;).

The turf has been criticized since before the $63 million city-owned stadium opened for TFC's inaugural season of 2007. That talk has accelerated this year; the team's leading scorer Dwayne De Rosario has repeatedly said it must be replaced.

really? the stadium is worth $63,000,000 ????

that figure seems a little high to me.

^ maybe because it was built by the mob?

I honestly believe Toledo reffing is worth a goal for the opposing team, which means we'll have to score at least 2 tomorrow to get a win...anything else and our narrow playoff hopes are history.....Come on you REDS!!!!!

Yeah we got hosed.

Whenever I look at other comparable stadiums at www.worldstadiumscom (http://www.worldstadiumscom), some folks got waaay more for waaay less, even in Europe where the cost of land is far more expensive.

I hope JDG becomes the impact player TFC needs. I hope BMO Field finally gets some real grass on their pitch. And I hope the SSG and Coed girls get to know each other more intimately. :ihih:
